Thomas Harris

Thomas Harris joined the Haywood Group in May 2017. He is responsible for helping to procure new deals and government relations.

Prior to joining Haywood Group, Thomas spent more than a decade working in State, County and City governments, fighting for Milwaukee. Thomas has worked as a State Senate Chief of Staff, served as Director of Community Relations for Milwaukee County and a Special Assistant at the Milwaukee Mayor’s office.

During his years in government service, Thomas has proudly fought for and helped to bring about significant change. From his instrumental role in helping reinstate the Milwaukee County Human Rights Commission to his work on criminal justice reform, Thomas has never shied away from fighting for the people of Milwaukee.

Thomas is actively involved in a number of community organizations including Holy Cathedral Church, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, the Center for Self-Sufficiency and Jewish Family Services.

Thomas graduated from Vincent High School and holds his Bachelors in Criminal Justice and Masters in Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
